In 1994, HKS introduced the first Sequential Blow-Off Valve featuring a unique, pull-type, sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system. This advanced pull-type relief system allowed for stable operating ranges from low to high boost pressures. Since imitation is the highest form of flattery, HKS has once again redesigned the physical aspects of the Super Sequential Blow Off Valve to thwart off the counterfeiters.
Reliable functionality of the Super SQV 4 is unchanged and utilizes the same mounting flanges as all previous generation SSQVs. This assures compatibility with all optional HKS SSQV inserts, recirculation fittings and recirculation kits.
Super SQV 4 features include a nickel-plated, die-cast metal secondary valve, which is swaged to the primary valve, a stainless steel C-Clip and spring to increase sealing and durability.

Bought this with the chargepipe upgrade for the n54, very worth it. Loud when letting out all pressure and doesnt need any thought about spring rates for certain boost pressures. Easy install but be careful with the C clip, if not seated correctly, will fly into your hood. Otherwise, simple plug and play for the vacuum line.

I bought it for my 2008 E88 135i and it sounds great. It was actually a lot louder than I expected. Just make sure the clip is seated properly in the Charge pipe groove. I thought I did and took it for a ride and the first couple lower rpm pulls sounded good but once I did a hard pull it literally blew off the charge pipe and sounded like a bomb. It put a dent in my hood but not a single scratch in the HKS Blow Off Valve. I was pretty impressed. It was completely my fault and I had a good laugh at what happened.

This is the best BOV in my opinion. Before this setup I had the chargepipe with the diverter valves. Once you upgrade to a bov you will hear the difference by far. I would recommend buying from vrsf best aftermarket market company.

HKS always has had great products. Combined with the VRSF charge pipe makes for a great combo and looks amazing! Clip is a pain in the (Bleep) but with a set of good snap ring pliers and patience makes for an easy install!

The clip is pretty hard to get on but make sure it clicks if it doesn’t click it will fly off. The details on it are super cool too also you’ll need some snap ring pliers to get the clip in place

Great sounding bov. I was worried it will be obnoxiously loud, but it really isn’t. Make sure you get a good pair of snap ring pliers. Will need a screwdriver to push down the opposite side of ring to get it installed.

I am absolutely in love with this thing. I did not want just a dump valve, I wanted a bit more noise. Tunnel + HKS BOV + High RPM = a smile every time. This also was a perfect fit with no rubbing with the VRSF CP HKS flange. Would easily recommend.
