Street Catback:
Our 3.5″ Street Exhaust shaves about 42 lbs over the OEM exhaust due to our unique 2 to 1 design from the downpipes through the muffler. At idle, the street muffler’s exhaust note is subtle and slightly louder than stock which transforms into a deep, distinctive note at wide open throttle due to our use of a single 3.5″ primary.
Race Catback:
We also offer a race version of this exhaust which eliminates the muffler and shaves an additional 14 lbs of weight over the standard street exhaust. Please note, the Race version is quite a bit louder than the street version is best suitable for track use.

My cats were falling apart, I never exhaust anything not v8. So that’s out of way, my shop recommended this race exhaust with the vrsf downpipes. It sounds amazing for a little 6 cyl, very narly and turbo sound is awesome as well as upshifts barble. Time will tell whether I want to resonate but will probably depend on if I swap turbos, as its great at low speed cruising not annoying at all, but put pedal to floor and it’s nascar levels, maybe just a tad higher pitch than LS, but I think better than 5.0 ford because of turbo blocking annoying crackling. I’m very impressed for sure

Install couldn’t have been easier. The entire process went exactly as planned. The clamps were very easy to put together, they were very high quality, and they sealed each section perfectly. All hardware was included, fit perfectly, and was very high quality. The sound w/ stock downpipes is very deep, lots of bass in the tone it produces. Drone is almost non-existent on the highway. The turbos spooling will be a lot more noticeable/loud once installed. The whole system was very high quality and fit perfect on E90 chassis sedan.

Great exhaust purchased all bolt ons from VRSF and this exhaust is amazing on cold start it is fairly loud but as soon as the car is warmed up becomes almost factory sound under throttle sounds really nice and has a deep tone. The drone in the cabin is minimal I have had it on for a couple of weeks and went on a 2 hour drive drone is there but easily manageable and if you play music pretty much gone at highways speeds.

Easy install once you’ve payed out the pieces on the ground. Make sure your clearances are even with the connector sleeves and install will align easily. Absolutely amazing sound. Average 86db in the cabin under normal throttle and 110db under full throttle. I’d advise hearing protection if on the throttle for more than a minute as you can get hearing damage quick. Turbo down spool is incredibly audible with larger turbos installed. The full range of the n54 sounds extremely clean and n54 pops reflect rpm motor pitch. Definitely my favorite exhaust.

This product was exactly what I expected. It is a very thick exhaust so you might have a little problem with fitment at first but it sounds great. I purchased the race exhaust and it sounds amazing. I don’t have catless down pipes so it’s not obnoxiously loud like everyone says it is. I would make sure to use the spacers for the v brace to avoid any rattling.

Great quality work in the welds for all the piping it looks awesome! Only thing keeping this exhaust from 5 star review would be the fitment is off and you have to work with it and maybe do a little extra work to get the fitment right and not touching anything. Overall the exhaust looks great and has a great sound!

Could always go to a muffler shop for custom tuning but i wanted a full bolt on setup that can be reverted to stock easily and this did it. I have Downpipe and intercooler with mhd and race catback it sounds so good! I was always worried if it would be too loud and i would get pulled over since i live in california but witb a very light foot on the pedal you may pass with a cop behind you. It is in fact really loud when you give it any type of throttle.

I just installed the 3.5” Street exhaust on my car paired with the catless downpipes and it sounds exactly how I wanted it to. It has a very low and throaty idle that is tamed after the car warms up a bit. Under low rpms tou can really hear the turbo spool and the throaty note a lot more, but it is still dampened by the muffler, so it isn’t obnoxious. Under WOT, the exhaust really opens up and sounds amazing with a little bit of rasp and just enough loudness to stay away from being attention drawing. It is a major improvement over stock and well worth the time and money.

I haven’t run this exhaust yet as I’m doing other work to my car but I did install it. When unpacking the exhaust, I found 4 little aluminum blocks with two holes in each. I had no idea what these were for at the time. It became apparent when I tried to put the rear v-brace back on. They are spacers for the E92 center plate. The only negative I can think of is that I had to source longer bolts for that. No big deal but included bolts would have been nice or at least an instruction that I’d need longer bolts. Short of that, a pretty easy install and a good fit. Tips lined up well in the rear. Instructions and/or longer bolts would have made this 5-star.

I’ve had this exhaust on my car for almost a year now. It adds a deep bass tone to the exhaust note, and really screams when in the higher rev range. I bought the street muffler version of the exhaust with catless downpipes and dual cone intake for my N54. The exhaust is loud on cold start, but warm its not bad at all. The idle is aggresive and noticable, but not obnoxious. If you want obnoxious, get the “race muffler” AKA straight pipe. I wanted a sound level that allowed me to hear the car with the windows up, but not scream look at me. This is the perfect sound level (don’t forget I have no cats). The fitment was a little difficult, and the big annoyance was that the exhaust comes with spacers for the rear V brace but does not come with extended bolts… I had to make a trip to home depot, so that’s why I’m rating 4/5 instead of 5/5. I’d say that for the money you spend, you will not find a better N54 exhaust setup.

I have both the VRSF street and race platforms and I’ve been thoroughly impressed by both. With the street exhaust you get an exhaust note that is on par with the $2500 Corsa exhaust while maintaining a realistic price point, and at the same time increase performance through the 3.5″ design over the Corsa’s 2.5″. I’m currently using the race exhaust after having the street installed for a year and wow, this thing sounds MEAN! Turbo spool is loud, hell the whole thing is loud. The street is a bit louder than stock with obvious turbo spool while normal driving, but step on it and it unleashes an angry raspy crackle that turns a head quick! The street also sounds superb with MHD burbles.

Great purchase, great price, box was beat up on arrival, quality parts, easy to install. Overall a really good experience with the exception that I had to get bolts at Home Depot for the cross-brace extensions. The OEM bolts are far too short so I had to find longer ones to make it work. This delayed completion of the install by a good amount. For $800, I think the bolts required to complete the job should be included. Post-install I am very happy with the sound and aesthetic. The Race exhaust on my car is louder, more aggressive and deeper. More of a motorsport sound versus the OEM 335is setup for sure. I would order from VRSF again and will recommend to fellow N54 owners.

Won’t find a better exhaust for the value.
Installation was super easy. Took 2 hours to do
by myself. Fitment is perfect, yes it hangs lower
than the stock exhaust. I have it installed with
catless downpipes and the noise is perfect. Nice and quiet at the lower revs and a nice exotic bellow when screaming in the higher revs. Only 2 complaints are that instructions would be helpful because I couldn’t figure out how to use the supplied hanger, and also providing bolts for the spacers to attach the under-brace would be nice.
You won’t find an exhaust for better value.

Amazing Value – Sound is Incredible
Installed this on my E92 (Coupe). Fitment was great, I did need some longer bolts for the rear brace over the exhaust, but spacers were provided!
I could not ask more for the tone of the exhaust. At idle it is deep and smooth, but get on the gas, it screams! I could have not asked for a better sounding exhaust. Only downside, is I do get a small drone around 1600-1800 RPM if I am cruising. But I do have catless downpipes as well, that may play into this.
In whole, if you are debating between VRSF and another exhaust; dollar for dollar there is nothing that compares. Highly recommend, VRSF comes through again!

I have the VRSF catless DP and V2 exhaust setup on my N55 and I can confirm there is next to no drone. There isn’t a better exhaust setup for N55 that I’ve heard. My cold starts are louder than an e92 M3 with an Akropivic and Dinan setup lol. Definitely not a drone to the point where it would cause a headache, which I have heard in other setups. The sound my car makes under WOT isn’t something you’d expect from an I6. It is intoxicating.

First off, I love this exhaust. It’s awesome. Perfectly quiet normally, with a nice sound when you get on it. No drone. There’s only one slight resonance at about 1700 rpm, and it’s totally livable.

A+ Exhaust
Having driven 3-4 months now with the exhaust installed, I can say, you couldn’t ask for a better exhaust! On top of lightening your overall weight by 42lbs, it also redirects the exhaust into one single 3.5″ primary which reduces air flow resistance. One thing I like about this exhaust is that when you’re driving casual, it’s quiet and subtle but still have that deep growl. When you open up under WOT however, this things transforms into a beast and is sure to swing some heads. Coupled with VRSF 3″ catless downpipes is where this really shines. The turbo spool is very audible, kicking in around that 3k mark. Cold start, it sounds like an angry bear with an empty stomach. A++ nice work, Tiago!
PS. My mechanic who did the install said it sounded better than the $5,000 exhaust he just put on a Porsche before my 335i.

Perfect exhaust, look no further
This was not first exhaust I put on my 335. It should have been the first though . I tried another brand of exhaust strictly based on price the first time. Having owned more than a few performance cars and trucks I should have know better. My first exhaust droned like crazy when I was cruising on the freeway on my way to work or just driving around town . My freeway commute is about 80 miles a day. My wife really didn’t even like to take my car anywhere. The vrsf catback with vrsf cat less downpipe is absolute perfection. When getting off the line while driving there is a good deep sound, after that it mellows out and is actually pretty quiet . When you punch it , the sound is amazing. Let’s everyone know that your ride isn’t stock. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. The exhaust fits perfect and was super easy to install . Quality is spot on. The only bad thing I can say is that if you have a sedan, you will need to find new tips. The tips I was provided stick out way to far, about 5 inches past the bumper. This was remedied by ordering some from magnaflow that were much shorter. All the products I have ordered from vrsf have been great in terms of quality and fit. Keep up the good work. Btw, why don’t you have stickers or decals?

Guys this is well worth it!!! I only lost about 1/2-3/4″ of ground clearance. Quiet and tame when your cruising around and a beast when your on it. Perfect exhaust and I want to give it up to VRSF for making such a great product for us!!!!!!

Shout out to Tiago@VRSF for hooking it up for my 20th exhaust setup this year. I have to say this has to be one of my favorite setup out of many exhausts I’ve tried.

I’ve never heard such a thing in this exhaust. It’s soothing and not crazy loud as everyone thinks it is. If I were to rate it 1 out of 10 as loudness, I’d give it 6-7ish. For a more noticeable tone and not a “look at this fool type of loud” . This is perfect for you.
