We are proud to introduce our VRSF race & high flow catted downpipe for your B58 M240i, 340i, 440i, 540i, 740i & xDrive variants. These downpipes are THE best bang for the buck mod available for your B58 and they’re available in both race & high flow configurations.
Back pressure is significantly reduced by eliminating the restrictive catalytic converter in the factory downpipe with our race or high flow 200 cell race cat which results in faster spool, an increase in power & a more aggressive exhaust note. Our downpipe features a full 4.5″ stainless steel design as well as a CNC 304 grade stainless steel flange that offers a smooth transition from the turbo to the mid pipes. All VRSF downpipes are hand crafted from SS304 grade stainless steel and include a lifetime warranty as well as our “No Hassle” satisfaction guarantee (includes fitment).
Please note that the warranty on the catted downpipe is limited to one year.

The b58 downpipe was easy to install. Fitment was nearly perfect, I had a small issue with the slip connection but I got it to work in the end. It was harder removing the stock downpipe than putting in the new one. 100 percent recommend. Looks good, fits good, sounds good. Will buy from VRSF again in the future

Super easy to install minus getting the sensors off. Drove around with Stage 1 tune, Intake, and DP for a day. Noticeable sound, turbo spool, and faster flow. Stage 2 the next day and incredible power gains. It really pulls now! and sounds amazing.

Great for under 500 bucks. I run Dinan flash tune so I got a 45 degree spacer for this catted DP and no CEL trouble. Amazing flow for turbo, better throttle response, louder exhaust too.
I highly recommend the catted version.
However, you guys need to package things better, this awkwardly shaped downpipe is so easily damaged in the box you guys use. Get a different box or something.

Car sounds great. Quality is durable. Installing is isn’t bad, but i do recommend sliding back your midpipe a bit, and keeping your v clamp a bit loose, while you attempt to install, because the fitment needs to be extremely flush so you don’t suffer exhaust leak of course. The VRSF downpipe goes well into your midpipe to avoid that, which requires you to utilize a bit more room in the engine bay. I did this procedure WITHOUT taking out my air box, and many people recommend to do as it really isn’t a necessary step. When you cold start the car in the morning, you may anger some neighbors, as I do myself (stock exhaust except dp), and it will get a little loud, but once she gets to temperature, it sounds gorgeous. Pair it with the MHD stage 2 tune, add a little spice, and the car turns heads. I scare people with it and I love it. (not admitting to being a public menace, i just have a fun car)

Spent a good amount of time researching everything downpipe related and after about a month pulled the trigger on this. Youtube comparison videos on before and after downpipe mods do not do it any justice. On video the sound difference is not as clear as in person and i went in expecting some sound difference but not alot.
Installation took about 3 hours and was $180. The guys at the shop said that my car sounded like a beast and that turbo sound was more pronounced.
As soon I turned on the car I was instantly blown away and had a huge smile on my face. After driving it down the street my smile only grew. The difference this mod made on my car is SICK. I definitely recommend you get this and IMO it’s well worth the money. Must have if you are planning on tuning with bootmod3/BMS JB tunes/Dinan or any of the other tunes available.
I bought the catted downpipe and have yet to get a CIL and do not have any issue with exhaust fumes in the cabin.

Just as background, I have the MPPSK on my car already which already sounds great but when I added this catless downpipe the car opened up so much, sound is way more aggressive and the power pick up especially in the 60s and up noticed I noticed happens so instantly with little resistance..keep in mind I am not tuned yet so can’t wait for that adventure..

The sound is incredible
This is hands down one of the best add ons you can do with your tuner. The sound on my car is incredible and I instantly feel the power increase. The install was very easy as long as you have a lift. After this was installed I literally couldn’t stop smiling the whole way home I’m telling you the car sounds and feels like a rocket ship now!
