Increase throttle response and decreases turbo lag with the VRSF chargepipe for your 535i, 640i, 740i, X5 or X6. Our aluminum chargepipe features a CNC billet aluminum OEM throttle body flange and is finished in powder coated black. The VRSF chargepipe retains the OEM c-clip in order to provide a better seal over a conventional clamp/coupler design. A plugged 1/8″ NPT bung is also included for those who are currently using water injection or interested in using water injection in the future.
Our chargepipes include a plugged 1/8″ NPT bung and the couplers and clamps necessary for installation. A replacement OEM C-clip is also available in case your OEM c-clip is lost, damaged or worn.

I bought the chargepipe offered by VRSF, and I’m so happy with my purchase! The quality is excellent, and so is the finish.
Just a heads-up: this accessory takes a bit of time to put together. It’s meant to replace the original plastic chargepipe. I’d recommend getting the gasket and mounting flange, as that’ll make sure everything’s secure. To fit, you’ll need to remove a few accessories, but above all, make sure you’re working safely. The motor needs to be cold, otherwise you risk burns. There are videos online showing the assembly steps, which I’d recommend checking out!

Recently purchased and installed the VRSF chargepipe on my ’16 535i (F10). It arrived promptly, and was well packaged. Quality of finish (machining, welds, paint) all appear excellent. I didn’t weigh them, but subjectively the VRSF part was little if any heavier than the (plastic) OEM unit.
While there are numerous YouTube videos from third parties that detail the install, there are some tips that would have made the process quicker and easier. My one suggestion would be to provide some brief instructions, either in the box or at least online. That aside, install was a little tedious but largely straightforward.
Overall, a very solid product that I would buy again.

Installed on a 2016 535i and it was plug and play. I was expecting a gasket for the MAP sensor fitting but it’s apparently not needed on the motor setup. The fit is great and mated perfectly to the intake and manifold.

This pipe is definitely a step up from the OEM. The wrinkled black color looks great and the replacement O-rings and C-clip are a nice touch on this 79k motor. Highly recommend applying a safe for rubber silicone lubricant to the O-ring when installing to the manifold for a smooth push-on.

Self installed this charge pipe. The OEM charge pipe was made out of plastic and extremely brittle. The quality of the VRSF is much better and it will not crack in the future. Great product! I’ll probably be upgrading the other parts now with VRSF

Took me a bit longer than expected to install the charge pipe on my x5 f15. The fitment is good but not perfect. So you must put the pipe to the throttle body first before connecting the coupler to the inlet; otherwise, it is impossible to completely insert the pipe to the TB as the pipe bend angle is not perfectly aligned to it. The shipment took a bit longer. But Robin was very helpful and responded to my email promptly.
