For your 2008-2010 BMW 535i & 535xi with the N54 Engine
We are proud to introduce our VRSF 3″ Stainless Steel Race Down Pipes for the N54 535i & 535xi. These 3″ downpipes are THE best bang for the buck mod available, with gains from 25hp & 30tq when tuned. By eliminating the restrictive catalytic converters in the factory downpipes, back pressure is reduced significantly which results in faster spool, an increase in power & a more aggressive exhaust note.
Rather than necking down closer to the turbos like most of our competitors, our 3″ race downpipe feature a full 3″ design up to the 2.5″ flange which allows an increase of flow. Our 3″ downpipes are hand crafted from SS304 stainless steel and include a lifetime warranty & our “No Hassle” satisfaction guarantee which includes fitment & defects. Grade 12 installation hardware and gaskets are included with purchase.

My 3rd set of downpipes for my 535xi. First time with vrsf but definitely the best fit and finish. Seats perfectly to turbo housing, no gaps and JUST SO clear the axle housing for front shafts. Should have bought these first before trying others and been done with it

Before the down pipe install, my car felt sluggish and somewhat restricted. At high speeds, I smelled a rotten egg odor, which was cause by clogged catalytic converters. Now the smell is gone and immediately the car is feels quicker. I don’t like loud exhaust so I left mine stock, kept the mufflers and it sounds slightly more aggressive, perfect to me! Saving up for my next VRSF part, for sure.

A great product that fit with no modification for a 535xi e61 wagon. The exhaust has to be pulled pretty tight to meet the downpipes but other than that nothing but great things to say. I would recommend for anyone interested.

Bought these for my 535i last year and installed it myself. Everything was included, putting on was a challenge, not because of the fitment but the clearance i had. Fitment is on point, couldn’t be happier. Till this day, after 1 year, dp is still holding strong, no cracks or leaks. Honestly i would recommend this over the AR dp, half the cost and the performance is almost identical. I’m Really glad i bought this.

This should be the first mod after a tune! The power increase and response left me breathless! The sound of the turbos spooling is eargasmic !
Lets get to the point! Like any E60 5 series owner what i was afraid of was the installation and fitment. The VRSF Catless DPs fit like a glove and installation was straight forward with the vehicle on a lift . From start to finish , it took 3-4 hours , not rushing and making sure everything was properly secured .

I installed these pipes on a ’08 535i two years ago when they first came out. The install is a bit tight, but the help of a BMW mechanic friend helped. The performance improvement is outstanding. This car pulls more than ever and the sound is intoxicating, yet subtle at idle or normal driving.
These pipes are a must to let you tuned N54 perform the way is was designed to.

I just installed my VRSF down Pipes in a they are great. They sound awesome and the turbos whistle at around 1500rpm and above. The install on my 535i was not that difficult…granted that you have some decent tools, and I had access to a lift. Start to finish it took me 4 1/2 hours with a buddy that showed up half way through. I followed chadillac2000’s build on N54Tech and used the passenger wheel removal technique. If you are planning to tackle this job, it really is not that difficult especially if you have access to a lift, but even if not, guys do all the time. So… do it..
