Increase throttle response and decreases turbo lag with the VRSF chargepipe for your 135i, 335i & 335is. Our aluminum chargepipe features a CNC billet aluminum OEM throttle body flange and is finished in powder-coated black. The VRSF chargepipe retains the OEM c-clip in order to provide a better seal over a conventional clamp/coupler design. We also offer the chargepipe with a Tial or HKS bov flange as well as a N55 setup. Two plugged 1/8″ NPT bungs are included for those who are currently using water injection or interested in using water injection in the future.

Our chargepipes include 2 plugged 1/8″ NPT bungs, caps to cover your intake re-circulation ports and the couplers and clamps necessary for installation. A replacement c-clip and o-ring are also available in case your OEM c-clip is lost, damaged or worn.

    I actually just bought my vehicle used and the first thing I needed was the charge pipe. I read lots of great reviews about VRSF so decided to pick it up. It was a bit fiddly to install but using a bit of oil to lubricate the silicone coupler helped a bit. I do feel both clamps are just a hair too small. I may source my own clamps soon as I don’t believe I got the smallest one to fully secure to the pipe. It’s been holding but I still check it. Otherwise, the pipe is holding on and I am not seeing any problems for now. I also paid for overnight shipping but since the item did not ship till Friday, I didn’t receive it until Monday. There is typically an option for Saturday deliveries but that was not available.

    I bought this to replace a Cobb CP that leaked at the throttle body no matter what I did. Tried new OE o-ring, no dice, still leaking. My short term fuel trims were almost maxed out due to the leak. Installed the VRSF CP with a new OE o-ring, reset adaptations and the STFT are nice and low and fit is great. Only complaint is the two “tubes” for the OE diverter valve are a little too short. I ended up reusing the ones from my cobb CP which are taller and can be seated on the CP and DVs fully whereas the VRSF ones would be on the edge so to speak. I would recommend VRSF make those roughly 50% taller. In any case, happy customer.

    Under hard acceleration my OEM intake tube went pop and it was in need of replacing. I shopped the VRSF based on reviews and videos I’d seen. The pipe arrived in about 3 days and I was able to get the old one out and get the new one installed in about 30 minutes. Be sure to order the O-ring as it is separate. Also be sure the OEM “C clip” that holds the pipe on at the top side is retained for install.

    Great design and fitment. However, the smaller of the two T-bolt clamps was almost too small – very hard to get started. The worm style clamps for the diverter valves were way too big. I had to cut off a lot of excess once they were installed. Other than these small things, the pipe fits and looks great. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

    I had a blown charge pipe in a 2013 e84 n55 all stock X1. The kit was shipped super promptly. I have never modified/repaired anything in my car before. I was able to perform the replacement in less than 1 hour. It is working perfectly. It took every bit of strength I had to get the front part of the charge pipe into the rubber elbow. I probably should have wetted it in retrospect.

    Bought the charge pipe for my car as a preventative maintenance item. The install was straight forward, and I do like that the fasteners included are more standard sizes unlike the ones that came off the car.
    I wasn’t really expecting anything as far as performance goes, but I do feel a bit of a difference around 4-5000 rpm which is nice.
    The only criticism would be that it’d be nice to include a reminder that the o-ring from the original charge pipe needs to be transferred over, I almost missed that bit.

    Bought this to replace my broken factory charge pipe. Installation was straightforward, although aligning it up with the throttle body and ensuring its seated correctly takes a bit of time. The only criticism I have is it would be nice if the silicone pipes for the diverter valves were another 1 inch longer so they can be fully seated. I really like the crinkle black finish and the subtle vrsf logos on the silicone pipes. Shipping was pretty quick and reasonably priced for NZ.

    Just bought a used 2011 135i and charge pipe broke after 2 days.

    It’s a simple install, but it was a pain to get the new charge pipe connected back to the engine with a new o ring.

    Also lost one of the map sensor bolts to the abyss (floor mat). Customer service was nice enough to get me the specs for the bolt and got 4 of them suckers just in case lol.

    Will buy from again!

    Ordered the HKS BOV and chargepipe for my ’07 N54 E90. Install was very easy to do, as long as you have a snap ring pliers for the C-clamp to connect the BOV to the chargepipe. Sounds great, but remember that if you have an automatic, you typically will not hear the BOV unless you release the gas. I would also recommend changing out your PCV valve to an aftermarket, better performance one, since this may end up causing an oil leak since there will most likely be a higher crankcase pressure now than before and it may press some oil past the rear main if it is worn.

Very intuitive and great, only exception is installing the chargepipe, was easy, although the rubber arm that connects from the end of the chargepipe to the intercooler pipe, is very difficult to put on if you dont have any grease to lube it up, if you don’t have any greaser for it, it will be such a pain the a$$ to do. Great fitment tho, i noticed better airflow in low end rpm. !

    The overall build quality of this chargepipe is amazing. The powdercoating seemed proffesionally done, even around the edges the flaking was very minimal.
    The fitment is a solid 10/10 (could change per car and condition I suppose). After installing my Tial BOV it felt really snug and “at home”. The chargepipe feels really sturdy in place, it has a tight fitment in a great way.

    The charge pipe appears to be high quality. The exterior finish is good and the powder coat looks perfect. Interior finish had some scoring around the machined areas for the MAF and the npt ports. The scoring isn’t an issue for function and cannot be seen once installed. My one gripe is residual aluminum shavings and dust in the pipe upon delivery. I washed this out with a solvent rinse but this should have been taken care of after finish machine.

    Have been meaning to upgrade my upper charge pipe for a while now, and from everything I’ve read using the VRSF one is a no-brainer. Black powder coat finish on the outside looks great, and the pipe feels lighter than it looks given the size. Comes with all the hose clamps and fittings you will need, except for a new throttle body O-ring that you’ll probably want to replace.

    I got this with the tial Bov for my 2009 335i xdrive. Charge pipe literally clicked into place perfectly. Silicone and clamps are really high quality. Vrsf included all the hardware for installing the bov. However, tial recommends running a 1/4″ vacuum line to the intake manifold and while the kit did include this, they supplied a 1/4″ hose barb to a 1/8″ hose barb fitting so that you can connect the 1/4″ line to the stock vacuum line. I would recommend going out to buy a 1/4″ Barb by npt thread fitting so that you can run a full 1/4″ line directly to the intake manifold. Vrsf has the best prices, quickest shipping, and always high quality.

    The product is well constructed and finished. It was easy to install, I have to agree about the clamps for the small hoses, they need to be smaller, but they work fine. The meth bungs should come tightened from VRSF, I forgot to tighten them before I started and had a hard time tightening the bottom bung, but that was my fault for missing this step.. Overall, the car has no lag and more responsiveness.. Support was great I had a question before I bought this product and the email I sent was answered quickly and the response was clear.

    For such an inexpensive modification, this truly changes the way your N54-equipped BMW feels around town. I purchased the kit with Turbosmart BOV, along with new O-ring and replacement C-clip.

I had some concern based on previous reviews regarding the fitment of the BOV as it is positioned close to the intercooler pipe however with the Turbosmart BOV its a perfect fit.     Fit and finish was perfect on my N55. The install was almost too easy; even at midnight, on my driveway with only my phone as my flashlight. Throttle response and spool is definitely a lot quicker and smoother. Not to mention it handles 21psi of boost all day long. Turbo spool is also noticably louder.

    Overall very good quality. The only minor flaw was that the small clamps for DV pipes were too large. I had to trim over 1/2″ to get that pro look.
    Installation was a breeze; few drops of dishwasher liquid mixed with water helped a lot with alignment of the main rubber coupling.

    Better than you could expect

    Installation on this was tougher than I was thinking but not because there is anything wrong with the product. It’s just a bit tough to get the silicone boot in place given how crammed everything is and on this car if you drop a tool it doesn’t come out the other side, you have to pull the undertray. I also didn’t get any kind of instructions with the kit but it was all pretty intuitive and there are plenty of guides online for similar products. Quality is A++ right down to the inclusion of little washers for the bolts on the sensor. I don’t think you could ask for a better and more attractive product at any price, let alone the VRSF price.

    I really liked the VRSF chargepipe with the Tial blowoffvalve. However I have a 335is and it has oil pipelines in the way of the installing. The inside of rubber boot needs to be sanded before installing. I just wish one of the two clamos vrsf provided would be bigger. Great product overall!

    To be honest, I expected some fitment issues based on the fact that this was a “discount” part by comparison to some other brands out there and also because many parts claiming to fit the n54 535xi are really designed for the 135 or 335 which has some layout differences. I was pleasantly surprised that everything fit together like a dream. The welds look to be good quality, and the oe-style connection to the throttle body was superb. VRSF definitely converted me from a skeptic to a future repeat customer.

    Noticed it much more than I expected

    I was driving my car one day, and I threw a boost code. Now, in the end it just ended up being because of a misfire, however I had already ordered a CP because I was planning on upgrading it anyways.

    I ordered the CP and it came pretty quick. There was a little delay since I ordered it right as we were going into the holidays, but it wasn’t a big deal and after everything was back to normal it came quick.

    Once it got here, I installed it pretty much right away. Just looking at it compared to the stock CP you can obviously see how much nicer the VRSF one is. Getting it installed was a little awkward, but that’s just because it’s a bit bigger than the stock CP, and it still wasn’t difficult.

    Right after I got it installed, I warmed up my car and took it for a couple of pulls. I didn’t think it would be so noticeable, but I had never felt my car hit boost better.

    I’ve had it installed for about 2 months now, and it is still great. I will be ordering most of the parts for my car from VRSF from now on.

    I’m by no means a gear head, but when I heard a loud pop a few days ago and lost power, I limped home and looked up what could be wrong with my car.     Only thing i would suggest is if you’re not using the meth bungs make sure screws/caps are tightened properly. Mine was loose so i had the leak and had to pull it out and reinstall after i tightened the screw.

    I bought this pipe because my OEM one burst under boost. I do not believe it helped the throttle response in any way as the product states, however, it is a must if you plan on upping the boost. I also like the fact that it came pre-drilled for methanol hookup.

    Easy Install + Great Price

    After only about two weeks of being tuned (Cobb Accessport Stage 1 Aggressive) along with a BMS DCI, I was driving home with a few of my friends after the disappointing Cowboys loss when I rolled onto the throttle getting onto the highway. I saw the boost gauge at 15 or so psi and then I heard the distinctive pop, reduced engine power, limp mode, and a few codes to go along with it. I opened the hood and noticed the chargepipe blew right off of the throttle body. Both the stock O-ring and C-clip were missing and the wire that connects to the TMAP sensor had been blown off as well (luckily no damage to the wire). I put the CP back on the best that I could and I proceeded to limp the car home. The next day I ordered the VRSF chargepipe, O-ring, C-clip, and Tial BOV.

    Upon opening, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the CP along with the BOV, and I feel like I must mention that the product arrived the next day! I proceeded to walk out to my garage and start the install. It was very straight forward and took me no longer than 45 minutes start to finish. Anyone considering this chargepipe along with the BOV I must say that so far I have no complaints and you can’t beat the quality for the price point!

    Pleased with the build quality of the pipe. I received mine with a chip on the finish but it is mostly out of the way once installed. Silicone coupling and fittings are of good quality also. Fits great and sounds excellent. No issues with installation and nothing else was needed. This CP with the Tial BOV also fits with the passenger side relocated inlets and coolant expansion tank retrofit.

    One of the easiest CP installs

    I got the parts in yesterday, and had them installed today. My installer told me that it was one of the easiest CP installs he’s done – No wiggling or anything – It just fit right in. They’re a popular racing shop near COTA in Austin and have seen many cars. I can’t see how another charge pipe would be better than this setup, and I’m glad Tiago took the time to help me out. They found one of my diverter valves to be leaking, so this ended up being a minor performance improvement for me. I can barely hear the Tial with the windows up, and you can hear it outside of the car, but it’s not terrible. Can definitely live with it.

    Great Value, Great Quality, EXCELLENT Customer Service

    So after running jb4 map 5 (couple times with e85 mix) for 6+ months on my 2010 335i I cracked the stock CP. Searching for a replacement I found VRSF with their nicely priced replacement. After reading the other reviews I pulled the trigger and ordered the black CP for the n54 with the o-ring coupler and OEM DV ports.

    The product arrived as expected with everything needed to perform the replacement. The replacement was relatively pain-free as far as working on the n54 is concerned. The only issue I encountered was the length of the silicone elbow that attaches at the bottom of the CP. This is a tough balance because too big and it becomes impossible to install and too small is prone to popping off under WOT. My concerns were easily fixed when I contacted Tiago and he offered to send me a larger silicone elbow that I could cut to my liking!

    Through-out the whole process I pummeled Tiago with questions about DVs, BOVs, etc and he was extremely patient and helpful. This alone speaks volumes about VRSF as a company.

    I already have plans to purchase DPs and an FMIC from VRSF in the future!

    I could not be happier with VRSF Charge pipe. IMO the best option. The install took all of 15-20 minutes and most of that time is trying to remove the tmap plug from the sensor on the stock pipe. Quality is Awesome and fits tighter to the throttle body than the stock pipe did with the O Ring supplied. Turbos appear to spool more freely creating better throttle response and boost delivery to intake manifold. Glad i waited to upgrade my charge pipe along with the new VRSF 5″ Stepped FMIC the combo made my engine alot happier. I really did not know what to expect from upgrading the charge pipe but it exceeded my expectations and then some! Great Product!!!

    Everything went together swimmingly with zero issues or hold ups.

    So i’ve noticed a lot of talk about the new VRSF charge pipe and wanted to write this to clarify a few things and to help anyone that is having a difficult time installing it with some tips.

    First I’ll start off with the process from ordering it and ending with a weeks long test.

    As always VRSF had it shipped and to my door step within 3 days from purchasing. So nothing less than excellent there as usual.

    The quality is great and what you’d expect from VRSF. Its a continuous run, mandrel bend aluminum.

    Install:
    Yes i know i have a ST but the install is the exact same. The only difference is i don’t have an airbox and preturbo piping to remove. I will only pick up from assuming you have gained access to remove and have removed the old CP. I had the original VRSF CP installed but everything should be the same coming from the stock CP. The install of the CP is the exact same as installing the stock CP with the addition of an extra clamp and coupler install.

    Some tips for installing:
    -Install your BOV
    -Install your TMap sensor with supplied hardware
    -LIGHTLY! lube the O-Ring (i used Super-O but you can use christo lube, vasoline, motor oil,ect.)
    -Scotchbrite the mating surface of the TB. Its aluminum and tends to have a little pitting and corrosion on it.
    -Place the clip on the CP and push it down so that it is seated.
    -Push the CP onto the TB and listen for the “click” noise of the clip seating into place. (dont try to install the CP with the clip in the up position)
    -install the coupler and clamps as normal.

    Everything went together swimmingly with zero issues or hold ups.

    I installed My 7th meth nozzle (if you have seen my DP injection thread you know what im talking about) I purposely installed it to help identify any leaks. I have gone through 2 gallons of meth since last weekend tuning. I see no signs of leaking around the o-ring on the TB. I have also put 25PSI to the CP with no problems.

    I used the meth bung for my pressure switch. Theres a few reasons for this. First, I use aquamist nozzles so they come with adapters and tend to be more shallow than most. Second i believe if you were to use AEM, Devils Own, or Snow the bung may be to tall and the spray pattern may hit the walls of the bung killing the amortization. Do a little research is check what is best for the particular nozzle you use and file the bung down to meet those requirements.

    Pros:
    -Value
    -C-Clip design
    -fitment
    -BOV placement

    Cons:
    Deep meth bung. May need to be filed down a little for best amortization.

    You can’t go wrong with VRSF.

    I think i have one of the first v1’s (non c clip) never had a problem. I run 24+psi to redline and only had it blow off once. I run it with the tial bov. I’m with you when it comes to price for certain parts. I can’t imagine paying $200+ for a 18″ piece of metal with 1 bend and a few weld on adapters.

    Tiago and vrsf team is the best bang for your buck hands down. You can’t go wrong with vrsf. Most people base quality off price and branding, i can vouch for anything this company makes because I’ve owned or installed a component of theirs at one time or another.
